Hi there,

I would like ask a question,please?

Me and my husband are nearly divorced - waiting for the also lute to be granted.
The child is with me Monday to Friday and with him 2 full weekend and 1 day for the rest of the 4 weekends.

He live in another area and wants the kid to go to school there although he live with me from Monday to Friday.

So I guess I have few question:

1. When the parents are divorced do they need to agree jointly where the child will go to school?
2.Do we both need to sign a form for that?
3.What if one of the parent is agenst that decision?
4.Do we need to involve child maintenance team?

Please I''m desperate for an answer as its so un fer to travel for 1h every morning one way and 1h the other way.

Thank you
L

Ultimately you would have to ask a court to make a decision for you. It is nothing to do with CMS.

Where does the child go to school now?

It is highly unlikely that any court will want to change the status quo and common sense says an hour travel each way would be too difficult and make no sense

Hi there,

Thank you for your reply back...

He goes to a private nursery now...so I was talking from September 2017..

Just because we will be divorced by then...do we need need to sign a form that we both agree for a child to go to the chosen school, please?

Thank you
