Hi

Can child maintenance calculations tale a large sum in their bank account? So for example an ex is telling they earn a small amount yet their form E says they've got £90k in their account. Many thanks

How much are the arrears that are owed?
The CMS can take either a lump sum or regular payments from the paying parent's account without their agreement.

Just remember that the form E is confidential and private to the financial proceedings. So you can't share information such as amount in savings and bank account number to the CMS if it comes from that source, unless you have sought permission from the court to do so.
