Hello,

I have applied for a specific issues order re my son's school place this September.

His mum is being difficult, with the Police referring me to domestic abuse support partly because of what she has been doing regarding the school place: they have said it's coercive control.

What do I need to consider other than academic benefits of the different schools?

Pastoral care, distance from home, how your son will get to school and if he will have any established friends at a particular school.
