For the past year or so. We've shared our son equally. I've had our son every Friday Saturday, Sunday night. And alternative Thursdays. While my ex has had the opposite.Monday Tues wed and alternative Thursdays.

Although over the course of the past 12 months. I've had him additional days.

We have this Agreement signed by both of us in writting.

How ever she claims child Benifit. It was in my name originally but we changed that so her pension credits were topped up.

Should I be paying her any childmaintanence?

I would say not if you are jointly paying everything between you, such as accommodation, school uniform, clubs etc. I guess it also depends on one another's financial circumstances whether you or her might want to. If you are paying everything half then you could ask her for half the child benefit.

If the care is shared evenly, then there is no CM to pay (unless otherwise agreed). Where one parent is a lower earner, it makes sense for them to claim the CB and other child related benefits to boost that household income.
