Just thought I needed to get this off my chest! The children stayed at their mums last night as she is finally trying to keep to the 50/50 childcare split that we agreed when she moved out months ago. Of course as I am still in the former marital home it is my fault that the children (15 and 12) don't spend much time with her.

Anyway as she was working early this morning (a common occurrence) she dropped them off here so they could go to school from here. My 15 year old son was in an absolutely foul mood as soon as he walked through the door so its been a great start to the day for us all!

He has calmed down a bit and has said the reason he was grumpy is that he was late getting to bed after rugby training and was woken up very early.

The thing that really annoys me is that yesterday evening I gave him his tea (mum was working again) I dropped him off at rugby and his mum picked him up from rugby at gone 9pm, and she sropped him off here with my daughter at 7am this morning. So although last night he was officially at his mums she probably saw him for 5 minutes whilst driving him back from rugby, and again this morning dropiing hime off here. This morning I get the fun of a very tired and grumpy teenage boy!

Hope you all have better starts to your day!

Hi Sven

That sounds like my house every morning , my 10 yr old special needs son is a monster when he gets up , he is uncooperate, rude and dam hard work. Most morning involes him throwing himself head first out of bed and shouting this is after going to bed at 2am most nights , i have this until he has his meds but not after i have had a least 20 mins of him either messing about with his coller or him messing about with his nose cos he says it's bunged up grrrrr.Oh what a beautiful morning.

Sven,

It's all part of being a teenager, he would be grumpy whatever the situation at home is, just remember he will grow out of it.
