Does anyone have any experience of how to stop one's company car allowance being considered as income, and therefore not being used for the child support calculation?
The company I work for stop providing company cars a couple of years ago in favour of giving a company car allowance. The job requires the employee to have a car at their disposal.
Thanks:)

They should'nt take that into account it should only be your net income.

Mt ex the only time he was ever PAYE is when the CSA first got involved with us Nov 05 he was given lodge and travel expenses these were not taken into account to form his net income.I presume it does clearly state on your wage slip it is car allowence.

Yes, on the salary slip there are 2 lines stated: Basic Salary and Perk Car....the perk car is the company car allowance.

My initial enquiry with the CSA came away with anything which is taxable is then subject to the child support calculation.

Any thoughts?

At the moment the x2b is not going through the CSA, however her solicitor is insistent that car allowance should be taken into account. How do I provide 'evidence' to the solicitor that the CSA would discount the car allowance?
Thanks
