Hi

Just a quick one..

Went to court this morning over ex trying to change my Daughters name without my permission.(both have parental responsibility)

Anyway, long and short of it is, it was only a directions hearing and the Judge has asked that we both submit statements as to our reasons.

Ex has to submit hers to court by 5th February, I get till the 19th February.

Anybody know why i get an extra 2 weeks?? is it because i get to see her statement before i have to complete mine.

No solicitors involved, doing it ourselves

Hi

You get an extra 2 weeks so you can see her reasons and give your views on them.... you will find the case law i sent you desimates most of the common reasons, so do make sure you read it well.
