Strange as it might sound to many people, my wife left n Sunday afternoon to live with another man and his children, i have come to terms with this unbelievable right out the blue decision by her to throw in the towel. Now, i am not saying their are not going to be problems i have not foreseen further down the road, but to be truthful i am sort of relieved as she was a very aggressive person and sexually damaged by numerous affairs over the years of our marriage. Sitting here now on Tuesday morning it is a feeling of slight euphoria that i now make all the decisions and boy o boy their going to be changes.

I also felt the same, the issue is now not to get caught up in the who gets what of the divorce financials and that is easier said than done.

There is some time period which someone else will be able to answer as to when you can change the locks just in case she has any second thoughts and beyond that time you have a right to privacy in your property.

You can change the locks any time but if they have a right to enter the property they can break in.

It is only when there is agreement that you are sole owner or sole tenant i.e. Deeds are in your sole name or a new tenancy agreement has been signed, that locks can be changed.

Of course there may be restraining orders etc that affect the above.
