What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

dear All

a judge has ruled against me making many findings of fact that are absolutely incorrect. such as dates applications etc, I'm not talking opinion here Im talking absolute errors of fact. facts that were clearly available on documentary evidence entered into the case?
for example, believing my husband that i had not been out of Argentina since 2008 when i sent all my visa stamps to the court as evidence showing all my tourist visa stamp entries into Argentina for 2009 2010 2011 and 2012! yet the judge says he believes the husband I have been here since 2008!!!! ignoring not only the absolute evidence that that is not true, but by official entries with government passport stamps and visas proving the judge has made a massive error ignoring official documentary evidence.

I need to find the name for this kind of error by a judge.
Is there a name or paragraph i can use in an appeal where a judge has ruled on provably false information yet entered as fact by a judge ?

I need urgent help as i have to ask permission to appeal him to him I have less than 18 days now for appeal and haven't even asked permission yet, He ruled on Monday.

I've found this link on the Rights of Women website:

rightsofwomen.org.uk/get-information/fam...ourt-process/#appeal

rightsofwomen.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/...ecisions-Digital.pdf

I have also heard that there are helpful people there, might be worth a call.

Hi HappyOneDay,

Long time since last messages. Since then, I have learned its called 'falsification of facts' and I am having it investigated.

Hope you are well.
