What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Where do I stand if I self represent but my ex lies on the form E and lies again on the answers to my questions to the form E?

We are both hoping to solve this before the final court hearing but I honestly feel there should be something said as it’s just not right to lie.

What makes you think they have lied?

Is there any evidence that they have?

Hello there.

Because they have made false accusations.
One being an asset isn’t in use for 3 years so is valued lower when my ex posted to Instagram the asset in use multiple times in the lasts 24 months.

Among other answer that do not match up.

Hard to say without more detail of what the asset is and how regular usage increases its value.

Can you produce evidence of its ongoing use?
