What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

I will soon be getting the financial Consent Order completed and just wanted to know if there is any chance of judge rejecting.
We have 1 child and custody will be 50/50.
The only asset is FH which I will be staying in and giving ex lump sum payment of approx 40% value of house.
The lower amount being due my family gifting a large sum to purchase the property 3 years ago (he is more than happy with this).
My income is slighlty higher than his (approx 4k annual) and he has a larger pension than me by approx £6k but both pensions are very small so we have agreed not to share.
Is there any chance a judge would not accept this?

Has it been drafted by a solicitor?
Have you both had legal advice?
If no to either then it is more likely that it will be rejected or the district judge may want to see you both.
If it is grossly unfair or contains errors it will be rejected.

I am in the process of getting a solicitor to draft.
We have both received legal advice but have been happy to negotiate between us.
I wouldn't say it is grossly unfair but is slightly favored to me as mentioned due to a large sum given by my family which is why my ex has agreed to a slightly lower than 50% payment from the house (approx 40% to my 60%)
