What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

Hi
seeking some advice on a 2nd hearing on enforcement of child maintenance (REMO) Ex has caused considerable unrelenting and unnecessary delays and hearings to avoid his obligations as per court order. As a consequence I have had to incur legal fees and interest charges from bank during period of non payment
Representing myself as can no longer afford to retain legal here in England where variation of order has been made - what legal basis can I ask judge to award costs as a result of ex conduct and deliberate acts of tactics and avoidance of paying his CM? thanks as ex has a very slippery lawyer
