What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

Evening

Received an e-mail at 5.45 this evening to say SBEX has cancelled mediation again am absolutely fuming he is just delaying everything he possibly can.

2nd mediation session was a disaster with him not doing as hed been asked too.
just feel at the end of my tether again wondering if I should just cut my losses and request the court forms.

As a rule how long would I have too wait for a court date ?

It costs £255 and first court date would be 12-16 weeks from date of submission. My ex is doing the same so I have just applied..hoping he might take things seriously when he gets the court letter!
