What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

What does it go i.e included in the Consent Order?

1.Money split?
2.How did you get and where from the money?
3.child maintenance?
4.The split per night per child with what time should the child be back home?

I look forward to some answers if you have been trough a divorce

Thank you
Layla

Hello Leyla,

This information guide will help provide the information you are after - www.wikivorce.com/divorce/Consent-Orders.html

Consent Orders don''t detail any arrangements relating to the children - if you have an agreement over the arrangements for you child, you can formalise this in a Parenting agreement - Wikivorce has a free parenting agreement, just let me know if you would like a copy.
