ive heard child maintenance is due to change soon? does anyone know when?
apparently fees will be charged if u r using the agency to handover payments
what would happen if i agree that direct payments could be made into my account but my ex still decided to use the agency- do u think i will be charged for this?
ive also heard that the flat rate will change from 5 pounds to ten pounds a week- hurray!
and ive heard that a non resident parent can stop paying maintenance if they have the child overnight for a number of days? does anyone know what amount of days for this to apply if its true?

Part of the changes are in place. They now use gross income rather than net. I dont think the charges are in place yet and its uncertain what they will be.

If the children are cared for on a 50/50 bases then on maintenance will be payable.

Hi, here is a link to a good explanation how the child maintenance is going to work. Also, a good website for single parents - I am not affiliated with in in any form
