Keijen, I''m absolutely not tarring everyone with the same brush, if I was I would say all men are liars and cheats based on my experience but I know that''s not true either. Every single person on this site has a different storey and different circumstances. When I said ''these men'' I meant my ex and rumbled ex and all the other people that will try every which way to get out of paying maintenance for their kids. I''m now in a relationship with a man, that like you, family means everything and will do their best for their childeren and show them how much they love them. This world is such a horrible and mixed up place where some parents want nothing to do with their kids but could so easily be in their lives and others that desperately want to be in their kids lives but for some reason their ex''s won''t let them. I hope you get your situation sorted I know how painful it is not to have your family in your life.

Keijen I would give anything for my ex to see his children more, if he saw his children regularly and paid the correct amount of child maintenance according to his income then I would have respect for him. I have no respect for a ''man'' who drops his children when they are inconvenient and goes to the extent of submitting fraudulent tax returns to reduce his CSA liability. Luckily my family is very supportive and I don''t rely on his maintenance because I know that I can''t.

I hope that you sort things with your ex.
