i currenyl pay Child Support for my 14 and 12 year old by private arrangement between myself and my e-wife. At what age am I legally able to stop making payments?

To the letter of the law, until they reach 18 years or 19 years in full time education. This is how the CSA would play it.

Again, strictly speaking, a child at university could seek ancillary relief proceedings agains the 'absent' parent whilst they are at university to get financial support.

In practice, most absent parents tend to come to a private arrangement with their children when they are at university.
