I don''t pay child support, but it would be a possibility once our older child turns 18, and if the younger decided to spend more than half time with her dad.

How many days per week does your son spend with each parent? Are there any other children?

I know it seems mad at one point my ex on 37k was getting child support from me at min rate because I was on a low wage for my daughter and I was getting it from him from my son. But tbh its an equal responsibility system both parents share the liability. However, he got help and got his reduced because he claimed allowable deductions that I knew nothing about. Whilst I don''t think you could or should try to avoid your responsibility you could get the CAB to look at your decision to ensure it is accurate.

I get CM off my ex if that counts? It''s by agreement rather than CSA though.

I suppose in a fair and just society there ought to be about the same number of men and women paying CM, but because of the bias in family courts and the government rules that CSA interpret, there are far fewer women paying CM than men.

Why is it important as whether females pay CM or not?
