Hi all.

After 4 long years I finally received the Consent Order. So now divorce over, finances over.....back to some normality??

No, now ex has stopped paying child maintenance, which it took me two years to get, because he says he has no money. His business with his new wife is not going well.

Strange thing is, she offered me more money the week before CSA told me ex had stopped payments! Do they live in the same house??? Mind you she also told me she looks after the money so........

This was also the weekend they took our son and her son away for a two night stay in a rather nice hotel. Money for hotels but not the basics for his son.

Guess it''s back to me again to pay for everything, already got two jobs!

Was the csa telling you he won''t be paying. I assume they have to ask for evidence of lack of income not just taking his word!

Its tough going alone but you will survive. How is son now could he get a part time job to provide a bit of income for himself?

Csa rang to tell me ex had missed a payment and had he paid me direct. They then said they would do a deduction from earnings but I said difficult as he is self employed. Self employed? they said, we spoke to his "employer" today, the "payroll" dept told us his income. I then told them (again) that the business consists of ex and his wife who are both directors therefore pay themselves....... So now the self employed team are onto it.
