Sorry for making things complicated.. The Maintance for our daughter was through the CSA as my ex offered £15 PCM which was a joke...

I just want what my daughter deserves esp since I will be loosing my job soon through the capability route so money will be tighter for us then..

I knew this day would come but had hoped it would be after she had finished her education..

He is still not allowed any contact and its been 9 years come the summer he has seen her
Many thanks for all your help

It''s not you making it complicated, it''s the jurisdiction between Scotland and England or Wales which sometimes even lawyers cannot agree. If you already had an order or maintenance was minuted in an agreement in Scotland you or your daughter could have pursued the issue here where legal aid should be available for Scots law. I can''t remember from the top of my head if you can if there is no order/agreement and you and your daughter don''t habitually live in Scotland and the last thing you need is a dispute over jurisdiction.

All I can suggest is you contact a lawyer here first to find out the position. If you can''t you would need to go through the courts in E&W. Although legal aid isn''t available there the court rules and procedures aren''t so complicated and it would be easier to represent yourself if you can''t afford a solicitor.

Its in my minute of agreement that Maintance is through the CSA..I will email my last solicitor and ask her where my habitual residence is..

All these different laws is confusing..my divorce was through Scottish law.
