Help, Had another court Directions hearing appointment today, my ex husband (Applicant)and being represented by solicitor whereas I self represent. At end of Directions, his solicitor stated that they would be seeking an order for costs at the next hearing. The Judge stated that "costs reserved, costs in the application" What does that mean? Thanks

In plain English it means the judge will decide at the hearing that ends the case.

So they say to the judge we want him to pay our legal costs and the judge is saying ill decide that at the final hearing.

Don`t be shy about asking in court what you don`t understand or you could end up agreeing something you regret later.
