Hi, I've applied to the court to terminate a global maintenance order on the basis that my ex has remarried.

I've received a date for the hearing, but no information as to what I must do beforehand. My ex's solicitor has requested that I disclose my financial circumstances, but I feel this may be unnecessary due to the remarriage.

I am of course happy to continue with the child maintenance component, and have applied to CMS to have this calculated.

Thanks for any advice.

Hmm. I cannot see why you would need to share details of your finances if this is an application to dismiss maintenance altogether.

I imagine that if that applications fails (although I struggle to see why it would) the court may consider a variation. I imagine though that this would be a separate application.

Remarriage ends the spousal maintenance requirement. There is no need to provide evidence of your financial circumstances. The ex has no leg to stand on.
