My children's father has submitted a C1a and C100 and I am due to attend an FHDR this week. He wants the court to decide on secondary schooling for the children and has made some loose allegations about my parenting. We have been separated for 12 years and in that time he has harassed and financially controlled me. I have been on a Domestic Abuse Support waiting list for months for assistance in submitting the non mol paperwork - I cannot afford a solicitor. He is also emotionally abusing the girls. When I initially received these papers I contacted a local McKenzie friend who told me to forget about the non-mol or doing anything about the emotional abuse and deal with the papers submitted by the applicant only. He told me I was likely to lose residence of the children as their father lives near a better school. I decided not to use his services. I then engaged a solicitor as a friend was going to loan me the money. When I received the quote from the solicitor this friend withdrew their offer. At this point I had one day to respond to the C100 and C1A. Unfortunately I DIDN'T tick any of the abuse boxes and submit a C7. I admit I panicked and just wanted to respond in time. I now realise this was a huge error on my part. I now have the case coming up this week and am wondering if I can resubmit my C1a and C7. Please can you help?

Ask the court for permission to amend your paperwork. Call them to explain and ask what form you need to amend the application. This is not legal advice, asking for what form you need to amend an application.

Get form name, download form website . And fill it out and attached updated paperwork. And a letter from the

Also, have you considered calling a legal aid lawyer, which you are entitled to under domestic abuse laws?

And you would not have to fill out all these forms your self.

Good luck
