After spending all his savings, and taking out loans, ex has found a new way to fund his crazy spending, and I worried it could have repercussions for me.

He found a company whose blurb states they are not regulated by the Finacial Services Authority. They got him to set up a limited company, for the purposes of Self Invested Pension Plan/Scheme. He sent them all his dull but safe pension plans which they transferred the funds. Not sure if all the funds went into this new company, as my ex told me that they were obtaining between 12% to 18% returns on his capital:lol: by investing a portion in an hotel in the grounds of an historical attraction.

But here is the bit that I am worried about, some of the funds definitely went into the company he set up, and he is using those funds for personal expenditure. The first thing he did was buy a Bentley as a stablemate to his big new Jaguar(on finance) and various other vehicles. He told friends that the Bentley was an investment - rubbish of course but arguable as ow runs a catering business from her home. He is also using the money to pay his rent, and has just moved to a much more expensive rented property. The money will also be being used to pay for the necessities plus his ongoing extravagances, like sailing trips, to make everyone think he is rich and successful. Is this legal. If it isn''t legal, whilst we are waiting to find a buyer for the marital home and his debts mount over and above his equity in the house, can HRMC take repayment from my share, including all the tax that he saved by having the pension in the first place, plus fines for wrongdoing.

And what should I do. His behaviour I''m told is becoming ever more erratic and aggressive to anyone who remonstrates with him, so I don''t want to tell him I even know about the ltd co, and the Bentley etc.
