I owe my ex a deferred lump sum (that was turned into maintenance for tax purposes) of over 4M gbp.

She is paid maintenance of 48k per annum from a trust for two kids.

She has forced me into bankruptcy and I am homeless currently living with a g/f - anyone any idea what I can do about it?

Eg:- vary or reduce the lump sum

2) get some of the maintenance redirected to me so that i can have a place n uk to have my own kids?

Ive tried in court to get lump sum reduced / varied and lost on technicality (unless order - 85 lever arch files didn''t contain "all" the information)..

Anyway if anyoe has any genius ideas let me know.

thanks and have a great day as the yanks say!

if you were divorced in the states you need to look at the laws of that state.

Uk law is very very very different
