Quick update. I moved out in August after he asked me to find somewhere else to live. House is his as comes with his family business. The children came with me, there was no discussion about this. My parents have been fabulous buying everything I hadn't got for the house - all the bedroom furniture beds and mattresses for the kids and a pair of sofas, plus a dining room table and chairs. A friend gave me a 50" TV!! My husband decided how much money he would give me, which was the equivalent to the rent. He will not give me anything else and I am paying for everything for the children. We had agreed to avoid seeing solicitors for 2 years and then to divorce based on separation. Unsurprisingly, given his attitude to the money I have seen a solicitor and started proceedings based on unreasonable behaviour. He has disagreed with the divorce petition and asked for it to be changed!! He is disagreeing with my opinions and how I say he has made me feel! My solicitor has advised against the changes. So happy I have left, but very worried about money. I am just about managing and should be ok once I have a divorce settlement, but I know he is going to fight all the way. He has our youngest once a week, takes both boys to rugby as he enjoys rugby, but barely sees our daughter and shows little interest in her. She stayed at his Christmas eve and has seen him once since. It's always her that makes the effort. This sadly is One of the reasons I didn't want to be with him any more! Still have depression but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel even if things aren't resolved for another 12 months
