2 yrs ago I had to call the police & xtb was cautioned & moved out for 1yr. Then he wheedled his way back in to the house & I haven't been able to get rid of him since. We've agreed to the 2yrs separation as we haven't lived as man & wife since he moved back. What is the appropriate wording to use?

I believe the wording goes something like:

The marriage has broken down irretrievably and the petitioner can no longer be reasonably expected to continue living with the respondant.

Hope it helps

Hi there

When you have lived in the same property you need to make clear that you have lived separate and apart, so something like:

The petitioner and the respondent have been living separately and apart since XX DATE although reside at the same address.

The parties have not shared a bedroom since the date above. The Petitioner does not cook or wash for the Respondent nor he for her.
The parties shop separately for food and have separate finances.

The Repondent consents to the divorce on the basis that the parties have lived separately and apart for more than 2 years.

Then put in the paragraph that Mike suggests.
