Hi there

It is only if an order were manifestly unfair that the judge would refuse to approve it. The judge cannot insert an order of his choice, his only option on a consent application is to approve or refuse, giving reasons for that refusal.

If you have mananged to agree a Clean Break, this is not usually questioned as the court has to consider making a clean break wherever possible.

Sorry Amanda forgot some points. By working less her business is valued at less. I remortgaged to pay capital sums. From my understanding the threat hangs over my head that she could sell her business at a really knock down price as its not making as much and then buy it back and fire it up to full potential again after divorce.
