Language of DIY Justice Project

A massive thank you to everyone who’s taken part in our project looking at the experience of people who represent themselves in court. I’m posting to say that we’ve just published a brochure with the first results from the project along with some advice about the issues that have been raised. Thank you for sharing this - it's a very interesting read.

I am very much in favour of using plain English in court proceedings, rather than antiquated, confusing terminology which doesn't help the average litigant in person.

I'll ask that this is added to our library.

On a side note, I notice that you haven't included Wikivorce in your "Where to to get information and advice" section, perhaps you could include us in the next brochure?
