There's a template in the library you may find helpful. divorce.wikivorce.com/library/diy-divorc...ital-Causes-Act.html

Updating disclosure will be required ahead of the hearing. The s25 is based on the latest information you have. It is your opportunity to set out your needs in particular plus those of any children.

You can start with a brief summary of the marriage and a bit of background but keep it neutral. Attacks on the other party are not appropriate.

Use 12 point font spaced at 1.5 lines. The maximum length is, I think, 12 pages but shorter is good ?.

Attachments (exhibits) should be included sparingly if at all. Remember that the attachments from form E aren't in the bundle so there may be one or two documents you want to highlight. Number exhibits, reference them in text and ideally provide an index with page numbers etc.

If there are documents essential to your case, make sure they have been served on the other side and ensure that they are in the bundle.

Give key facts.

Ages, length of marriage, cohab, children, living arrangements, employment and income. Describe current situation briefly.
Set out any distinguishing characteristics of the marriage that support your needs case. This can be anything from curtailing a career to support your ex to having illness/disability that affects income and the accommodation required. There may be children with particular needs ie being able to walk to school, critical stage of education etc that may have an impact on settlement at least in the short-term.

The bundle is the bundle of documents for the case for the judge and each party. It is prepared for each hearing by the applicant's solicitor. If they do not have one and the respondent does, they will prepare it. If both are LIP the judge will likely give directions about the bundle.

If the FH is some time aeay, you can always agree an extension for the s25. It is not a job to be rushed.
