I started divorce proceedings in October and have heard nothing since. I telephoned my husband who has been living in Spain for the last 6 years and he says he has never received the petition.
I imagine the bailiffs don't go to Spain to serve the papers so what do I do now and how?

If you are self repping, call the court and ask where they sent it. If you have a sol, call him or her and ask them.

Thanks for that - I phoned the court and they are just going to resend it. If he hasn't received it in a couple of weeks then I'll phone them again. They have the correct address and there should be no reason why he would lie to me as we both want to get divorced after the 6 years we have been apart, plus we are still friends.
