Hi new to this forum and would welcome anyone's views on this matter.

my new partner's soon 2b ex wife is claiminig that he should be giving her more than £100.00 per week to pay for the household bilss, etc.

He has agreed to pay her enough to cover the mortgage payments of approx £180 per month but it would seem that she wants more of his weekly net wage of £350.00.

Their 3 chilren of which 2 live at home are aged 18 (not living at home) 19 and 23 and are all working in either full time or part time employment.

the ex also has a full time job and a part time carers job.

any help would be appreciated.

Voluntary arrangements are just that, he can just say no i can`t afford it.

If this were to go to court it is very unlikely he would be asked to pay spousal maintenance.

little else can be said without much more detail.
