Hi I would be very grateful if anyone can advise me on this issue.

My STBX hushand and I reach a financial agreement and would like to use some online service to draft out our agreement into a Consent Order, then apply to court at the same time when we can apply for our Decree Absolute in November.

However, I read something online that states even though we have an agreement, but it is still required both parties to complete the form E before the judge when we apply for a consent order. Is this statement true? As I have so much difficulties in completing the form E myself.

Many thanks.

Vivien

No you don`t need form E when you agree (well some solicitors still use it but don`t worry about that) if you use the wiki service they will ask you to answer some question by email, income and assets but just a very short version.

Once done they will send a form D81 along with the order they write for you and thats that, if you have any questions just call the helpline number at the top of the page.

Thank you very much Dukey for your speedy advice. We both don't want to spend any more money on solicitors' fee and their advice can be very confused sometimes!

Big thanks again! :)
