Wise ones

stbx is moving out :woohoo:all the accounts are in his name so I have been going through them to get them changed over to me we pay direct debit each month for the utilities and they said that they will send a final bill out when i give them the meter readings on the day he moves out. This is not a problem but he has refused to pay half? Am I correct in thinking that he is still liable for half of them up until the day he moves out and I take over the bills? Apparently his solicitor says I am dictating, I just thought I was right in thinking that he was still liable for half of them:dry:

Hi driven,

Yes he is liable so should pay half.

If his name is on your tv license then it goes with him and not the property, I got caught out on this one, so make sure you get your own.

NWTT.
