Hi

Hope someone can help me because I’ve just opened my Consent Order and I feel sick.

What myself and my stbx agreed has been approved by the court on 26th August. But the pension sharing Annex which gets sent off to his pension provider should say 50% but as there is a decimal point pre filled in, it reads 5%. This is totally my error but I’m worried it’s all the pension provider will see. The “Capital & Income After the implementation of proposed order” reflects to 50/50 divide of stbx pension and so too does our explanation of “reasons for Proposed consent order division of assets” This (states sharing respondents pension 50/50) although that particular sentence is continued onto a plain piece of paper with our names at top as we ran out of space.

what can I do to resolve this. Really appreciate any help. Thankyou

This can be rectified under the slip rule, which allows for typing errors to be corrected.

If you call the helpline on Monday or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to ask an advisor to call you, I'm sure they will be able to get this sorted for you.

Thankyou so much for your help. It’s not a typing error though it’s a hand written, misuse of the decimal point, that was pre written. Should read 50.0%, as other documents reflect. Actually reads 5.0%. Can’t believe I did this but with this being the only document the pension provider sees I am very concerned. Thanks again, I feel a little better.
