Got myself in a bit of a pickle at the end of last year and was charged by the police. I''ve now got my hearing date for court later in year my wife has been marked down as a hostile witness against the prosecution on the court summons and will be giving evidence in my defense.

She''s just had court papers in to be a witness for the prosecution! Am I right in thinking that under Scots law she cannot be forced to testify against me against her will/wishes? due to spousal privilege Ect.

Will be speaking to my lawyer on Monday but just so we can get a rough idea of whats happening.
