Hi In Reach,
Fave tracks from the past are a great support on new-found lonely nights. Through The Barricades (Spandau) has just come on the ipod as I type this - new lines tend to jump out that you never noticed before and speak to you..
Well There's a scar right through my heart
but I'll bare it again
Oh I thought we were the human race
but we were just another border-line-case
.....and in this troubled land
desperation keeps us strong.....
with nothing left to lose
there's everything to go ....
I used to read (other verses) from this track as reflecting our struggle to survive life together - but you can turn the words to almost any of the tracks from your long marriage to your current situation and find strength in them - try it. Good luck in your travels.
