My husband is alcohol addict
He had a brain injury where he lost sight of one eye
He had a bleed and was operated on taking veins from his legs so he is very unstable in his legs
When he starts drinking he forgets to drop 7days a week
He is a liability to himself
I can’t live like this anymore
I am biopolar
His brain injury happened 2 years ago
I don’t no where to turn but he would not be safe to stay himself
I went to see a flat for him but then no
He falls all time and shouts me during the night
Can he get assisted living
I am stressed out and don’t want to end up in hospital again
I get a mental health nurs every 3 weeks
Help please

Sorry to hear about your situation. I don't think anyone here can tell you whether he would qualify for assisted living. A fill assessment would be needed. He does sound very unwell.

If you are planning to divorce, your respective housing needs would be considered and such an assessment may be part of the process. It may be worth talking to your GP or the Citizens Advice Bureau to see if they can advise on how to get an assessment.
