My husband and I are currently going through a divorce. The only major asset is my husbands Royal Navy pension. He has served 28 years and has 23 years service with AFPS75 and
5 years with AFPS15. If our split had of been amicable and we had both wanted to end it, I would not have brought his pension into play. He had a fling, got his fling pregnant and moved in with her. My children and I were left to our own devices. He has not supplied the correct CETV's for both pensions. He has only supplied the free one that Veterans UK provide free of charge. I am wanting an Actuaries Report to be obtained as I understand that during our future court proceedings, a Judge will request this. Has anyone else gone through the process of obtaining an Actuaries Report for a Services pension?

I court won't insist upon an actuarial valuation - you will have to make the request and persuade the judge that it is appropriate.

However, the CEV/CETV values of forces pensions are usually not indicative of their value so a report is usually accepted particularly with such a well-established fund.

It is not a 5 minute job so you need to raise the issue ASAP as it might take a few months to commission and complete the report.
