Hi guys, my hb wants to start the divorce proceedings so soon. We are separated. We have not sorted out the finances or anything yet. I am concerned if I sign the divorce papers it will affect the financial side? Please advise!

Hello, and welcome to Wikivorce.

The divorce only deals with dissolving the marriage, the finances are dealt with separately. Responding to a divorce application doesn't impact or impede on the financial division at all.
