Thanks to Angel 557 and Juicymoon for replying. I phoned the legal aid commission and was told that any assets in dispute does not count. I am happy to pay back once I do recover any money from the sale of the house. I can completely new to all these benefits etc.so was very confused. I have been in this mess for 16 months, and still in a tunnel with no light. Thinking of you, cos I know what its like. I have three young children, paying all the expenses, mortgage, and no maintenance. He wants his share, but does not want to see the children or contribute to anything. My savings have depleted over the last year with running the household and solicitor costs. Thanks again.
