My Boyfriends Ex is sueing him for 50% of his house and she is/was being funded by Legal Aid. Upon a letter from my boyfriend to the LSC her Legal Aid has been revoked. I assume she was lying about her finances. It appears that she is appealing, does anyone know if she is likely to get this reinstated?

Revocation occurs after a notice of 'show cause' which gives warning that a certificate may be revoked. The fact that the revocation has occurred suggests that she was never entitled to funding, failed to notify of any change in circumstances or misrepresented her position in the first place.

Unless there is further information that the LSC has not considered, it is unlikely that the certificate will be reinstated but if is it it will take a while for the assessment to be undertaken.
