Can anyone help.

My case has concluded for the moment but my solicitor always told me my ex partner was not on Legal Aid as we hadn't been notified. At my final hearing my barrister said it looks like she is on legal aid.

I have asked her solicitor for the certificate number and if she was on legal aid with no reply.

Legally what are your rights to find out this information and if you have rights what regulations can I say to her solicitor to get this information?

Worth a try, check with the Court who dealt with your case, you will need the court number and say that you are a party to the case, ask whether your ex's Solicitor has filed Notice of Issue of Legal Aid at Court.

Best Wishes
Deborah
