Hi,

I have been paying full solicitors bills so far as I had a 2nd property with equity in. This has now sold and the money was used to discharge debts. My ex has been on legal aid from the start. There is no equity in the matrimonial home and no savings. Am I now entitled to Legal Aid? I work and receive £1295 nett each month. Although there is no disposable income.

I guess this may mean changing solicitors if I am, but I anticipate that I have maybe another £10,000 worth of fees to incur.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi andy

this link will take you to a useful legal aid calculator - just input your details, and it will give you an indication as to if you may be entitled or not.
