can I get an order of protection against an ex/roommate of a very off and on 12 year relationship? 6 months ago I was done! And I am so done and glad! Now he keeps entering my home when I'm not there? A few days ago he text to tell me he borrowed my crockpot! WTH! And I never respond to his texts. We have Nn kids. I changed the locks, locked windows and he continues to get in then gloats about it. Police are impotent! Don't know what else to do. However, I fear the order will not be granted due to no threat or history of physical abuse. Do I heve no relief?

Another thing, he likes to skate under the radar, therefore, everything he owns, cars, Harley Davidson, brand new house, are all in my name. Granted he has paid for all of them, and I don't want them, but I need them out of my name, and he acknowledges this but does nothing. In addition, does the above constitute "dirty hands" barring or restricting me from court assistance? Doubt it will come up and I'm not going to bring it up but I'm not going to lie. Perhaps in some way bring it up at the hearing would benefit me? I don't know.

Thank you,
Susie Q
