I have been split from ex now for four years but past 4 weeks I have had at least 3 dreams about getting back with ex wife!
All those times I have woken up in the middle of the night sweating and with my heart thumping out of my chest. Panic attacks :(

Last dream we agreed to have another baby!

Cant understand why Im dreaming of her and not of my ex gf who I was smitten with.

No but it sounds like your having nightmares not dreams ??

Do you have children, or want them at some stage???

For many woman there biological clock starts to tick and they can end up in a bad relationship because they listened to it. Maybe yours has began to tick!

If you start relying on your dreams to give you guidance on your life, it means your life isn''t busy enough ;-)
Start volunteering, running, anything!
Mummy''s bosom is the first place we run to when hurt, and your marriage, although it ended probably feels as comfy as Mummy''s bosom to your unconscious mind, even if it''s just a case of "better the devil we know". So, kick said mind into shape by distracting yourself.

Bizarrely another dream last night about ex wife and ex gf. 1st time since the 1st post !
I was so concerned about it last time I sought out some counselling sessions and have had about 4 with 2 to go.

Never have relied on dreams for guidance and am pretty busy with work and have joined gym which I go 3 times a week. Great social life too.

Perhaps I worry too much!

I''ve had many dreams about my stbx who I''ve been separated from for nearly 18 months. Sometimes I want him back & other times he''s back but I don''t want him! I''ve also dreamt about my first husband who passed away over 20 years ago. These dreams make me feel quite unsettled the next day but it goes away. It''s up to you how much you read into your dreams but I wouldn''t worry about them too much if I were you :-)

You probably dream about her and other things a lot more than you realise. Most of us dream every time we sleep. Its just we dont realise that we do as we dont awake during the dream. And we only remember those dreams that we wake during them.

I wouldnt worry about it. Your ex is in the past. What is in the past stays in the past. If it helps, I still have the odd dream. But in the early days the dreams would really shake me and the effects of the dream would last for days. But now? I give them no mind as they are just dreams. Marshy.
