Here you are mrs
www.mylostaccount.org.uk/
:-)

The website that was mentioned was:
www.moneysavingexpert.com/
Which I found to be an Absolute Godsend when I was trying to sort out my finances. Martin Lewis is awesome! :-)

All the best

No updates on this thread for a while so I thought I'd share this pearl...

Taking the kids out to the cinema can be a very expensive thing *but* most cinema chains operate a 'Kids Club' on Sunday mornings, for a quid each you can get in to see a film, just remember to pack your own drinks/pick and mix in advace...

Just a tip, hide the drinks and pick n mix!! Most cinemas have a policy that you can only eat and drink what you buy there, just go with a large handbag and look innocent!!Oh and lots of eateries do free kids meals have a look on moneysupermarket or google free kids activities my sister has never paid for her kids to do anything unless she is forced to Groupon is another but the deals are time limited hope that helps those of you with kids during half term Andrea

I have discovered "freecycle" and today managed to get two relatively new Razor scooters for my boys! Have managed to get a few kids furniture items too (study desk) etc and some garden tools. Definitely worth a look though you have to be quick to reply to postings!

One thing to do is plan. Far to often I watch people do shopping and then drive a mile back to the shops because they forgot a pint of milk. Even at best my car averages 20p a mile on fuel so thats 40p extra on that pint of milk almost doubling the cost.
I am also amazed when I visit one packed local estate shop whose customers are DHSS types. Some of the prices are double or even triple the price of Lidl which is within easy walking distance !!
Friends in financial distress decided to check exactly what was coming out of their bank and found that they saved £12 a month by cancelling subscriptions to things that they had forgotten they had locked themselves into.

Walk or cycle to work, saves a fortune on petrol money.

If you don''t have a bicycle find your local auction house they will have loads most weeks, so grab yourself a bargain for next to nothing.

Just don''t get carried away with auction fever, lol.
