Taking child away from home

Hi
Again domestics keep happening in every relationship.
We have a child who is coming up to 2 years old. We have may arguments due to other reasons.
She says she is going to leave with the child and go to her paternal home. As I am not in the wrong (i.e. being a good father, and as much as I can be a good husband). I wanted to check the opinion that can a mother just pick up her child and leave.
Does the father have any say so in this.
If I am being threatened or blackmailed in that I am leaving and that she will take the child with her. Can I call the police or any other bodies to say why should the child not leave his own home?
I want to check what my options are, rather than walking away from the argument every time, time is coming now to confront this.
Any advise/comments/feedback/suggestions are most welcome.

Having researched this further, the question is
Whilst in marriage, Can a parent (In this case: Mother) have the right to just walk away with the child?
As a father (Birth, and having parental responsibility) What rights does a father has.
Father status is clean slate in all aspects.

Are there any court orders in respect of your child, ie a Child Arrangements Order, Prohibited Steps or Specific Issue Orders?

Has the mother taken the child out of the UK, or has she remained in the UK?

Is mum a safeguarding risk, ie a habitual alcohol or drug user, violent & abusive, or incapable of caring properly for your child?
