me and my husband separated in April, and I have filed for divorce.

I've been getting all my financial documents together, and reading up on pension sharing etc.

We've both earned more or less the same as each other throughout our marriage (17 years - together 21)- I've paid into company pensions for most of my working life, but he hasn't bothered.

Am I going to lose out because of his unwillingness to plan for the future??

Seems grossly unfair.
Any advice welcome

The value of your pensions will go into the pot along with all other assets but the counter argument is that there was more money going into the household while you were together as a result of him not paying pension contributions.
