Hello,

We have received the SJE pension report but my STBx keeps asking irrelevant questions that were not included in the instructions issued at FD.In particular he's stating that his future job security should be taken into account as a contractor.Who has job security in this current economy? Also the SJE was instructed to equalise income/capital as per the accrued pensions during our marriage not for the future.I feel that my STBx just wants to complicate these matters further so that he can frustrate me!It's been a gruesome 30 months.Any advice is very welcome. Many thanks.

pension sharing is based on the pensions accrued during the marriage and potentially before if needs demand.
Future income, job security etc is not a matter for an actuary.
It may be a reason for him to argue that he could need to access his pension sooner. Tbh unless there was a compelling health reason for this the court would likely see it as his problem. Pensions would be equalised at normal retirement age.
